GENTLE RAFTING: Relax through trout laden pools, floating through the scenery of the Lower Tongariro River. Enjoy fun and gentle rapids. Snack on chocolates and drink while circling around an eddy of floating rocks (pumice). Feeding the trout, and our streamside hot pool finishes this unique Wai Maori trip. Ideal for the more mature or non English speaking visitors, and young children accompanied by adults.

Adventurous 15 years and older may opt to paddle along side this trip Whitewater Kayaking.

Equipment: All river and safety apparel supplied.  Bring swimsuit and towel.
Allow: 3 hours round trip.
Meet times: Summer: 11 am and 4 pm.  Spring & Autumn: 11 am and 3 pm.  Winter:  9am
Meet place: Wai Maori Adventures, Tokaanu Thermal Village
Suitable for 3 years and older.  Subject to adequate adult supervision.
Cost: NZ$75 adults, NZ$55 children 16 years and younger.
