The RANGITAIKI RIVER is located amongst the southern hemispheres largest exotic forest.  Witness on route to this river, New Zealand's huge industry of planting and harvesting pine. 

Rafting the Rangitaiki River starts with the excitement of Rock A and B, Jeff's Joy, and of course your Wai Maori guide's tales on the legacy of each of these rapids.   This follows with fun and playful rapids, and long and peaceful glides which often turn to friendly water fights.

Equipment:  All river and safety apparel.  Bring swimsuit and towel.
Allow: 6-7 hours round trip ex Taupo, or 4 hours ex Murupara.

Suitable for 13 years and older, 10 - 12 years old must be accompanied by adult and walk a small section of the trip.
