The WAIROA RIVER is located near Tauranga at the foot of the Kaimai Ranges. For only 26 days each year, this dammed river runs wild, cascading down waterfalls and roller coaster rapids. Jump on board with Wai Maori, rafting these thrilling rapids on this action packed one and half hour (Wairoa - long water) trip.

Release dates are most Summer Sundays, and every second Sunday in Autumn and Spring.

Equipment: All river and safety apparel supplied. Bring swimsuit and towel.
