KAITUNA RIVER:  The Kaituna River is in the realm of the lakes and land of our whanau and tipuna (family and ancestors), and we welcome you to join us on a river steeped in history and spirituality.  Rafting this 1 km in length, beautiful bush clad gorge over Okere Falls, The Weir and the 7 m Tutea's  Falls is adrenalin pumping action. 

We've been taking visitors safely down the Kaituna since 1992, when commercially rafting this river began.

Equipment:  All river and safety apparel supplied.  Bring swimsuit and towel.
Allow: 1 1/2 hours for round trip.

Meet Place: Pick ups from your Lake Taupo or Rotorua accommodation, or meet at Lake Rotoiti Lakeside Holiday Park, Taheke Rd, off SH 33, Rotorua
Suitable for 13 years and older.  13 - 15 year olds to be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: $85 p.p. or double the thrill and raft the Kaituna twice for $130 p.p.
