TOUR GROUPS: With our combination of a cultural, recreational and environmental identity, we are the chosen rafting and kayaking company for tour operators.  It's appreciated that Wai Maori provides a diverse range of freshwater adventures, for all abilities and with the flexibility to customise trips to fit into tight itineraries. 

Wai Maori's achievement to be the first to obtain the Tourism New Zealand sponsored Qualmark for rafting and kayaking, has placed us well in the international market.

For tours with time restraints, consider the fun and playful Lower Tongariro for all abilities; a short kayak on the Tokaanu Stream; or the adrenalin pumping action of the Kaituna.

The many half day trips we provide are the Whitewater Tongariro, Whitewater Kayaking, Lake and Stream Kayaking, Rangitaiki,  Wairoa, and Rangiteiki.

A full day would allow a fit and capable tour group to combined our Whitewater Tongariro and Whitewater Kayaking; or raft the Mohaka Gorge.

Tours that have the advantage of allocating a couple of days to a freshwater adventure, are able to consider a combination of Wai Maori trips, the Overnight Tongariro or Mohaka, as excellent chooses for their adventurous clientele.
